A morning & evening routine tracker that keeps your data on your phone.

On your device, and only there. Routine has no accounts and no servers. See the privacy policy.
Settings → Backup → export a backup file, then restore it from that file on the new phone. Because nothing syncs to a cloud, this file is the way your history travels.
Only from a backup file you exported earlier. Deleting the app removes the local data permanently, and we have no copy to restore from.
Routine forgives one missed day at a time — a grace day, available at most once a week. If two scheduled days pass without a completion, or the grace day was already used recently, the streak resets.
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Routine and make sure notifications are allowed. Reminders are scheduled on the device, so they also need the app to have been opened at least once since you changed them.
Open the Shortcuts app and run the Routine shortcut once. iOS sometimes needs that first manual run before the voice phrase works.
The 12-week heatmap and weekly recap, custom reminders and the encouragement notes, per-step timers, accent colours, and the lock-screen widgets. The habit tracker itself — both routines, streaks, the grace day, your journal, preset reminders, and backup — is free and stays free.
Open the Premium screen and tap Restore purchase. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID.
iOS Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Routine. Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us.
